调研:FPD产业设备需求2018~2020年持续不振

平面显示器(FPD)设备市场预计将在2017年前所未有的成长后开始下滑，因为面板制造商采取更谨慎的态度，据产业研究机构IHS Markit最新研究指出，FPD设备市场预计将从2017年的202亿美元降至2020年的140亿美元。

调研:FPD产业设备需求2018~2020年持续不振

2016年开始的FPD设备市场扩张受到新型软性有机发光二极管(AMOLED)显示器厂的大规模需求以及Gen 10.5/11 LCD新厂设备需求的推动，随着新产能开始增加供需平衡也受到扭曲。用于移动应用的AMOLED面板2019年供给超过需求40%。这意味着，平均而言移动应用的面板厂产能利用率将受到压抑。

这种情况已经导致面板制造商和大陆地方政府对新产能的投资趋于保守。由于面板需求成长低于预期，AMOLED面板厂在移动应用上的设备支出减少，是2018年和2019年设备支出下降的主要原因。银行贷款态度转向保守，大陆地方政府继续为选定的项目提供资金，特别是对于10.5/11代的LCD厂。预计到2020年这些项目将使设备支出保持相对稳定。然而，除非面板制造商通过转换部分制造商减少过多的液晶电视面板产能，否则2020年大型显示器供过于求的状况将高达18%。
