产业研究机构Yole Développement(Yole)近期发表MiniLED研究报告指出，MiniLED将逐步导入产业应用并开始加速，尤其是高阶显示器应用，预期2019年MiniLED将导入324万产品，包括显示器、电视与智能型手机，同时以年复合成长率(CAGR)90%的速度，到2023年规模将成长至8070万装置，除了上述产品之外，车用屏幕将成为成长最快且最大的单一应用领域。

在智能手机应用上，MiniLED主要竞争者是OLED面板，因为OLED的性价比已经使该技术在高阶/旗舰领域占据了有利位置。随着供应商数量和全球产能在未来五年内快速增加，成本将继续下降，Yole认为，2019年MiniLED在智能手机出货量约180万，2023年将成长至2410万。

在显示器应用部分，MiniLED可以在各种中小型高附加价值显示器领域中使用，MiniLED可以在成本、对比度、高亮度与轻薄外形上，较OLED屏幕有更佳的表现。MiniLED屏幕在2019年出货量约140万台，预计2023年出货量为1450万台。

汽车应用可以说是MiniLED未来几年的发展主力，Yole表示，MiniLED在2019年汽车领域的出货量还不具体，但到2023年出货量将高达3570万，一举成为四个应用最大的领域，成长爆发力相当惊人。

在电视方面，MiniLED可以帮助液晶显示器弥补差距，并在高利润的高阶市场上重新抢占OLED电视的市场占有率。对于没有投资OLED技术的面板和显示器制造商而言，这个机会更具吸引力，预期MiniLED电视将从2019年的4万台，成长至2023年的640万台。
