据外媒报道，丰田向松下采购5万套特斯拉“同款”电池，这些电池已安装在丰田今年在中国推出的新款插电混动的花冠(Corolla，卡罗拉)和雷凌(Levin)轿车上。

　　日本瑞穗银行的一位分析师表示:“中国能够生产高质量汽车电池的制造商数量有限，因此供需平衡十分紧张。”

　　一直以来，日本松下公司为特斯拉设计并提供车用动力锂电池，双方还合作运营在内华达州的锂电池工厂。据外媒最新消息，日本丰田汽车公司将在中国销售的一些插电混合动力车型中，使用松下给特斯拉设计的锂电池。

　　外媒指出，丰田这一举动表明其近年来的电动车对锂电池的需求上升，却很难找到足够的供应。

　　此次采购的电池已安装在丰田今年在中国推出的新款花冠(Corolla)和雷凌(Levin)轿车上。这一安排不仅有助于丰田应对获得高质量电池的挑战，还将提高松下公司电池业务的利润率。由于追加的订单，松下公司在大阪Suminoe工厂的汽车电池生产线将满负荷运转。

　　松下此前只向特斯拉提供电动汽车电池，不过似乎由于前者向丰田出售电池，两家公司之间的关系变得紧张起来。国外媒体今年4月报道说，他们暂停了在美国扩大合资的内华达州锂电池工厂的计划和特斯拉关系生变同时，松下向丰田提供了混合动力汽车的圆柱形形或矩形电池。今年1月，两家公司宣布成立一家合资企业，生产用于电动汽车的电池。
