传三星Display将向华为供应可折叠OLED面板

手机业务在中国失利的三星，欲借面板业务扳回一城？韩媒报道称，韩国大厂三星Display或将为华为今年下半年发布的新款折叠屏智能手机供应可折叠OLED面板……

据Electronic Times引述业内人士报道称，三星Display已开始为华为将于下半年发布的新款可折叠智能手机开发可折叠OLED面板，之前的华为Mate X可折叠面板供应商为LG Display和京东方。

消息指出，除了华为可能将采用三星 Display的折叠OLED面板外，小米也考虑在明年推出的折叠智能手机中采用三星 Display的折叠OLED面板。

报道称，华为会选择三星Display作为OLED面板供应商的原因，或许与折叠屏的供应以及良率有很大关系。目前，由于折叠OLED面板良率普遍很低，全球折叠面板供应依然有限。据DSCC的统计，京东方供应的折叠OLED面板良率不到15%，三星Display也只有40%左右。

值得一提的是，此前有报道指出称，三星Display还将成为苹果今年iPhone的独家OLED面板供应商，而京东方有望成为仅次于三星的苹果第二大OLED面板供应商。据GSMArena的报告，苹果将从明年开始向京东方订购4500万块OLED面板，并计划将它们用于2021年的新款iPhone。

截至目前，三星/华为/小米/苹果均未公开置评。

在过去的2019年里，三星的关闭了在中国的手机工厂，其手机业务正面临巨大的挑战；晶圆代工方面也有“劲敌”与之抢食。不过，倘若上述消息属实，手机业务在中国失利的三星，则有望在面板业务扭转逆势。
