  市场研究机构IDC近日发布的最新研究报告显示,受严峻经济环境和厂商提价影响,大幅调低AR和VR头显在2022年剩余时间及以后的展望。

  IDC预计,2022年全球AR和VR头显全球出货量为970万台,较2021年同比下降12.8%。而对比IDC先前预估今年两者合计出货为1107万台来说,下修幅度高达12.3%。不过,IDC认为2023年将恢复增长态势,而出货量将同比增长31.5%。预计AR和VR头显在未来数年将持续增长30%以上,到2026年的出货量将达到3510万台。

  以合计出货量中占比最高的VR头显来说,IDC表示,Meta受惠于中价位VR头戴装置Quest 2大热卖,即使Meta缺乏价格亲民的入门产品支援,今年Meta在VR硬体市场占有率估计来到84.6%,比去年的78%又成长,遥遥领先所有竞争对手,亚军为字节跳动旗下的Pico,市占率为7.4%。

  至于今年VR硬体全球出货量第三至五名的市占率都差不多,市场份额都是在1~2%左右,HTC在全球VR设备市场的市占率为1.1%,排名第四,换算出货量为10.67万台,与2021年的排名相同。

  IDC表示,随著Meta为了减少亏损、反映零组件成本而在今年中调高已经上市一年多的Quest 2售价,加上索尼将在2023年2月推出高价的PSVR 2、苹果也会在明年进入VR市场,在具有市场号召力的VR硬体价钱纷纷走扬、经济又不景气下,2023年消费者对VR的支出将更为谨慎,不过IDC强调,在接下来几年中,VR在商用与B2B领域的成长将超过消费性领域。

  HTC早在2018、2019年就将VR经营重点转往商用,针对企业需求开发的一体机Focus也已经出到第三代,都让宏达电在VR消费性市场遭到经济前景不佳衝击时,有机会在VR商用与B2B领域获得保护。
