台积电疑将赴日本设立海外第一座封测厂

据中国台湾《联合报》报道，台积电将与日本经济产业省成立合资公司，在东京设立先进封测厂。该合作案预计将会在近期签定合作备忘录并对外宣布，双方将以各出资一半的合作架构，这将是台积电第一座在中国台湾之外的封测厂。
值得一提的是，去年 5 月，台积电斥资 120 亿美元在美国建设并运营一座先进晶圆厂。有消息称当时日本知晓后，也曾邀请台积电在日本建设晶圆厂，但台积电调查评估后，发现日本并不具备优势，因而没有答应日本的请求。
日本将目光落在了设立封测厂上面。据中国台湾媒体分析，投资封测厂的成本较低，且日本掌握先进的封测材料和设备技术，对台积电在全球的地位十分有帮助。
工研院产业科技国际策略发展所研究总监杨瑞临分析指出，台积电先进封测主要以智能手机与数据中心等应用为主，客户有苹果与 AMD 等，日本相关需求相当有限，台积电在日本设先进封测厂与实际市场需求有差距。
杨瑞临表示，日本产业以电源、车用、风电、大型电机电力与影像感测器为主，台积电比较可能配合客户在日本设特殊制程产线。
台积电官网的信息显示，公司旗下目前有 4 座后段封测厂，分别是先进封测一厂、先进封测二厂、先进封测三厂和先进封测五厂。
