受惠于谷歌收购 HTC扭转连续11季度的亏损

5月8日，HTC发布了2018年第一季度财报，营收为88亿新台币(约合18.8亿元人民币)，亏损52亿新台币(约合11.11亿元人民币)。

去年9月，HTC将旗下曾参与谷歌Pixel手机的业务团队打包出售给谷歌，售价11亿美元，这笔交易还包括一项HTC知识产权非独家授权协议。HTC第一季度的税后净利润为211亿新台币(约合7.1亿美元，45.1亿元人民币)，每股收益为25.7新台币(约合0.86美元)，从而扭转了之前连续11个季度的亏损局面。

谷歌收购交易为HTC带来了资金，一些市场分析师对HTC今年剩余三个季度的业绩表示乐观。但也有人担心，失去了智能手机团队将影响HTC的硬件开发效率。在手机业务走向低迷之际，VR(虚拟现实)成为了HTC的新方向。

市场研究机构TrendForce就对HTC今年的智能手机出货量表示悲观，认为将跌至100万部。5月23日，HTC将发布新一代旗舰机型HTC U12+。据预计，这款手机是HTC手机团队在出售给谷歌之前开发的，搭载骁龙845处理器。业界认为，此次出售将让HTC能够专注于虚拟现实生态系统、物联网、增强现实和人工智能等领域。

HTC与谷歌签署长达10年的合作协议，向谷歌出售了部分智能手机业务，因此换来谷歌11亿美元的现金注入，这部分表现在Q1的财报中，则是316亿新台币的非运营收入。

除去卖身得到的316亿新台币，在实际业务营收中，HTC 2018年Q1营收为88亿新台币，运营亏损为52亿新台币。根据台湾媒体报道，HTC 4月份收入同比下降55％，当地媒体称这是13年来的最低点。
